Aaron Judge ties Alex Rodriguez on Yankees' all-time HR list

Mandatory Credit: Dale Zanine-Imagn Images Aaron Judge continues to climb the all-time home run rankings for the New York Yankees, with his 36th homer of the year on Sunday moving the captain into a sixth-place tie with Alex Rodriguez for the most long balls in Yankees history.
Judge sent a 2-1 cutter 409 feet over the wall in right-center field, not only helping New York earn a 4-2 win at the Atlanta Braves but also giving the 33-year-old 351 career home runs.
It brought him equal with Rodriguez, who retired the day before Judge blasted his first career homer in 2016.
"Just an incredible honor, especially, you know, growing up watching A-Rod for so many years and watching what he did in pinstripes," Judge said afterward. "He's a legend. One of the best ever players."
Judge now sits seven home runs behind Yogi Berra and 10 back of Joe DiMaggio. Babe Ruth (659), Mickey Mantle (536) and Lou Gehrig (493) sit atop the all-time Yankees home run list.
